The day
How does the day work?
A catamaran carries you across Maunalua Bay for a scooter briefing and underwater ride followed by snorkeling time.

Cruise across the bay
You board a power catamaran at Koko Marina. Diamond Head and the Koolau mountains form part of the view across the bay.

Scooter briefing
At the dive site your guide explains the safety procedures and demonstrates the electric scooter. You learn the controls before the underwater portion begins.

Ride beneath the surface
You follow the guide through the reef area on your scooter. The breathing dome keeps air around your head while the scooter carries you underwater.

Snorkel or rest aboard
After the scooter ride there's time for swimming or snorkeling. You can also rest on the shaded deck with the snacks and drinks provided.

Return to Koko Marina
The catamaran takes you back to the starting point. Photos and video of the underwater portion are available to buy at the end.

- Parking and transport: You arrange your own ride to Koko Marina. Shopping center parking is free, and your booking doesn't include hotel pickup.
- Swimwear: Wear a swimsuit for the scooter ride and snorkeling. A towel and sunscreen belong in your bag for the time aboard and after the water.
