About oahuvisit.com

Updated October 30, 2026 Sources for every number on the site and the date beside it

Your Oahu days start at your Waikiki hotel. You can see today's surf on each shore and when whales are off the island. Compare what a tour really includes and where it picks you up.

What this site is

This site is for the days you're on Oahu. It starts at your Waikiki hotel and helps you plan where to go. The sea and weather change by the hour; tours change by the day. Park rules change less often, though a closure can still alter your plans.

The tours are a selection from 1,328 listings read in full. 369 meet the review rules, which start at 4.5 stars from at least 30 reviews. The site keeps 198 in 16 lists for you to compare. How we choose sets out the rules.

What this site is not

  • This isn't a booking site; you book on the booking platform at its price. A booking through a button earns this site a commission, and you pay the same. The terms are in the disclosure.
  • Operators can't pay for a place in the lists. Each tour must meet the selection rules on the method page.
  • This isn't a tourist board or your hotel's activity desk. The text tells you what a tour leaves out. It also says when the day isn't worth your time or money.

Where the numbers come from

Weather at HNL The weather comes from HNL, Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu. The desk reads the airport's own report every 30 minutes. Mountains change local winds. Your shore won't always have the same weather.
Sea by shore NOAA supplies buoy readings for Waimea Bay and the waters off Pearl Harbor. Mokapu Point covers the windward side. The desk reads them every 30 minutes; a marine model covers gaps when a buoy is silent. The heights aren't breaking wave heights at your beach.
Parks and tickets Pearl Harbor rules come from the National Park Service and recreation.gov. Hanauma Bay uses the City and County of Honolulu's pages. Hawaii DLNR supplies Diamond Head and trail rules. Other attractions' own pages supply their hours and entry fees.
Tour prices and ratings The desk reads each catalog listing in full and reviews the lists every 2 weeks. Each tour's lowest price is read again every day. Ratings come from the booking platform and Tripadvisor, with a date beside each figure. Your chosen date or option can cost more.
Airport and getting around Airport arrival details come from the airport's own pages. TheBus and Waikiki Trolley supply their own route and price information. Use those details to work out how you'll leave your hotel and get back.
Photos and credits Freely licensed photos have an author and license on the photo credits page. Tour photos come from the operators' listings. The credit tells you whose work you're looking at.

Ask about your dates through the form. A wrong price or a missing fact belongs there too. The desk replies within 2 days, in English.
