Kualoa Ranch is a private cattle ranch on Oahu's windward coast. You reach its two valleys and film sites only on ranch tours. Tours run from $59.95 per adult for the movie bus to $199.95 for the Deluxe UTV before tax. You can also ride horses or e-bikes. It's open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Christmas and New Year's Day. Tours sell out weeks ahead.

- Jurassic Adventure or package Jurassic Adventure lasts 2.5 hours; the Best of Kualoa package fills the day with three tours. The package includes buffet lunch for $164.95 per adult before tax. You check in at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 3:30 p.m.

How to get there
- By car from Waikiki From Waikiki Beach the drive is 23.6 miles or 37.9 km via Likelike Highway. Follow Kahekili Highway north onto Kamehameha Highway. Parking is free; allow an hour each way plus check-in.
- By bus From Waikiki you transfer at Ala Moana Center to TheBus Route 60; allow well over an hour. Adults pay $3.25 cash per boarding without transfers. A 2-hour HOLO pass costs $3.00 per adult; the card itself costs $2.00.
- With pickup The ranch's Waikiki shuttle costs $30 per person round trip plus tax. Morning pickup points include Aqua Palms and Twin Fin Hotel. Sheraton Waikiki's Aloha Landing is another pickup point.
- With a tour You can add Waikiki transport to compatible tours booked directly. The six options on the booking page meet at the ranch. They don't include hotel transfers.

Tours start at the visitor center by the main entrance. Kaaawa Valley lies to the north with many of the film sites.
Mokoliʻi offshore
Mokoliʻi is also called Chinaman's Hat and sits off Kualoa Regional Park within view of the mainland shore. You can see it on the Ocean Voyage.
Kaneohe Bay
The Ocean Voyage crosses Molii Fishpond before a Kaneohe Bay catamaran trip, which requires climbing stairs to board. Secret Island's activities use the shoreline.

Tax and totals
Direct ranch prices are per person before 4.712% tax, with adult fares from age 13. Don't add tax again if your booking total includes it.
Cancellation terms
For a full direct booking refund, call 808-237-7321 at least 48 hours before your tour or scheduled pickup. Other bookings follow the seller's terms. The six booking options don't refund your cancellation.
Height and weight
E-bike riders must be 10 or older and 4 feet 9 inches to 6 feet 5 inches tall. Horseback riders must be 10 or older and at least 4 feet 6 inches tall. The horseback weight limit is 230 pounds. Your zipline harness requires a waist of 22 to 50 inches and an upper thigh of 18 to 28 inches.
Shoes and helmets
Closed-toe shoes are required for the zipline. Wear closed-toe shoes for your UTV ride too. Helmets are required on both. Neither tour is advised during pregnancy.
Food between tours
Aunty Pat's Cafe serves ranch beef burgers and breakfast. Some grab-and-go food remains available until 4 p.m. You can't eat on the tour vehicles. Secret Island allows you to bring snacks and water without glass bottles.
Rain and cancellations
Tours generally run in rain, but high winds or lightning can stop them. If the ranch cancels for unsafe conditions, it refunds the canceled part. Bring a rain jacket if you're taking an e-bike tour.
