The day

How does the day work?

A shared boat carries your group off Waikiki for parasailing before bringing everyone back to Pier E.

  1. 1
    Meet at the booth

Your group checks in at the yellow and blue striped booth beside the Magic sign. Boarding begins before the scheduled activity time.

  2. 2
    Boat and safety briefing

The crew provides a safety briefing and the flight equipment. The boat carries up to twelve guests out for parasailing off the Waikiki coast.

  3. 3
    Parasailing turn

Your flight takes place above the water with views toward Diamond Head. Companions with observer tickets remain on the boat while flyers take their turns.

  4. 4
    Back to the pier

The boat returns to Pier E after the flights. A photo purchase is optional, so you can decide separately from the flight booking.

The 1-hour activity includes the boat trip and flight. Group size and conditions affect the timing. The trip ends where you boarded at Slip F6.

Pickup and meeting point

  • Meeting instructions: Pier E Slip F6 in Kewalo Basin Harbor is the meeting location for Waikiki Parasail Hawaii. The yellow and blue striped booth stands next to the Magic sign.
  • Before departure: Arrive for check-in 30 minutes ahead of the booked time. Boarding starts 5 minutes before departure, and there's no refund for a missed boat.
  • Your transfer: You need to arrange both journeys between your hotel and the pier. Hotel pickup and drop-off aren't included with the flight or observer ticket.
  • Clothing and towel: Bring your own towel and sunscreen for the boat trip. A swimsuit is also your responsibility, while the crew supplies the harness and life jacket.

Before you book

  • Arrive 30 minutes before your booked departure. Missing the boat doesn't qualify for a refund.

Fit

Is this tour right for you?

Half-hour departure slots after 9 a.m. suit you if other plans leave a narrow opening for parasailing. The boat holds up to twelve guests. Your companions can buy boat-only tickets if they don't fly. Every flight length and the observer seat share the same departure times.

Hawaiian Parasail suits you if including fuel matters, with an 800-foot flight from $89 per person. For a six-guest parasail boat in Maunalua Bay, H2O Sports costs from $94.24 per person.

Means: Pick the 600-foot flight for the entry price and a departure that fits around your other bookings.

Who it's not for

  • Flyers under 5 or below 50 lb
  • Flight groups above 450 lb combined
  • Pregnant travelers
  • Parties needing more than twelve places on one boat

Good to know

Know before you go

Flyer eligibility

Both age and weight matter for children: at least 5 years old and 50 lb. Sharing the parachute doesn't remove either minimum. The combined ceiling is 450 lb for those flying together.

Before boarding

The booth check-in is 30 minutes ahead of your reservation. Boarding begins 5 minutes before the start. Your whole party needs to make that window, since missing the boat doesn't bring a refund.

Personal items

Bring sunscreen and a towel for this outing. You also need your own swimsuit. Flight equipment comes with the booking, but the price doesn't cover your personal beach items or hotel transport.

Weather and health

Weather can stop this flight from going ahead. Pregnancy rules also prevent flying, and guests under the influence can be refused service. Your reservation doesn't override the captain's decision about participation.

Refund deadline

A full refund requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure. Later cancellation loses the ticket payment and surcharge. Rescheduling a member of your party can also carry a fee.

Group and ticket

Up to twelve travelers can be booked together, matching the tour's group cap. Your ticket is mobile only. The boat is shared, and companions choosing the observer option still need a paid seat.

Questions

People also ask

  • How much does Waikiki Parasail Hawaii charge for a flight?

Flying starts from $75 per person for the 600-foot option. Flight gear is included in that price. Fuel costs extra, and photos are an optional purchase, so the starting price doesn't cover every possible charge.

  • Can children join Waikiki Parasail Hawaii?

Children can fly from age 5 if they also weigh at least 50 lb. Both conditions apply together. Your flight group's combined weight must stay within 450 lb, including any adults sharing the parachute.

  • Where does Waikiki Parasail Hawaii meet guests?

The meeting place is Pier E Slip F6 in Kewalo Basin Harbor, at the yellow and blue striped booth beside the Magic sign. You need to arrive 30 minutes early. Hotel pickup isn't part of this flight booking.

  • Does Waikiki Parasail Hawaii offer boat-only tickets?

Yes, an observer ticket covers a place aboard without parasailing. It costs less than a flight. Your companion shares the 1-hour boat outing while flyers take their turns, and observers count within the twelve-guest group.

  • What departure times does Waikiki Parasail Hawaii offer?

There's an 8 a.m. departure, then half-hour slots from 9 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. The same schedule applies to the flight lengths and observer option. Choose a time with room for the early check-in.
