Fit

Is this tour right for you?

The 90-minute Waimea visit makes this a fit when the valley is your main stop. You need moderate fitness for the walking. It's a choice for travelers who would enjoy the gardens even if swimming is unavailable.

E Noa's Majestic adds Byodo-In Temple and an included lunch, from $186.39 per adult. Go Tours' temple route focuses on sightseeing without a planned swim and costs from $159 per adult.

Means: Book the 7 a.m. option on a Waimea opening day for the valley walk and possible swim.

Who it's not for

  • Travelers who need a ramp to board
  • Guests unable to manage moderate walking
  • Anyone booking solely for a guaranteed swim

Good to know

Know before you go

Child prices

Child tickets apply from ages 3 to 12. An adult must be part of your booking, with infant ticket arrangements left unresolved.

Swimming kit

Your own towel and swimsuit are needed for any swim. Lifeguards control pool access and require the life jackets provided at the falls.

Closure days

Waimea closes on Mondays during parts of the year. A daily tour departure doesn't ensure valley access, and holiday closures also affect visits.

Bus access

A standard folding wheelchair can travel in storage when arranged beforehand. You need a companion and the ability to board on foot.

Refund cutoff

Canceling at least 24 hours before departure earns a full refund. Inside that window, the tour payment isn't refunded if you withdraw.

Booking limit

Your phone holds the mobile ticket for 1 to 30 booked travelers. The shared bus can carry 40, including guests on other bookings.
