Option Departures
Kevo's Beach Bus Paddleboard Snorkel Adventure North Shore Oahu 7:20 a.m., Mon, Wed, Fri
Means: Plan an 8-hour day on Monday, Wednesday or Friday if you want Waikiki pickup without driving.

The catch: Your 8-hour booking doesn't cover paddleboard or kayak rental, and lunch costs extra too.

Route

How does the day work?

The bus links a coffee stop with North Shore beaches before river paddling and the drive back through Honolulu.

  1. 30 min
    1. Greenworld Coffee Farm

The first break is at Greenworld Coffee Farm. You can get coffee and walk past the coffee plants before the drive to Pipeline.

  2. 30 min
    2. Banzai Pipeline

Pipeline is a beach stop on the North Shore. The visit gives you time ashore between stretches on the bus.

  3. 30 min
    3. Waimea Bay

Waimea Bay follows Pipeline on the coastal route. Summer can bring calm water, while winter surf changes how the beach is used.

  4. 30 min
    4. Anahulu River

This is your chance to rent a paddleboard or kayak on the Anahulu River. The rental isn't part of the bus price.

  5. 40 min
    5. Tsue's Farm

Tsue's Farm is the lunch stop beside the river. You can buy a plate lunch here before the tour continues.

  6. 30 min
    6. Dole Plantation

The bus pauses at Dole Plantation on the return route. Dole Whip is an optional snack stop.

  7. 30 min
    7. Kakaako Waterfront Park

There's a group photo stop at the park. You also get views toward Waikiki from the waterfront.

  8. 15 min
    8. Aloha Tower

Aloha Tower is the last stop before returning to Waikiki. You can look for fish from the waterfront.

Plan for road travel as well as beach time in your 8-hour day. River paddling has a 30-minute stop, followed by 40 minutes for lunch. The route finishes back in Waikiki after Aloha Tower.

Pickup and meeting point

  • Waikiki meeting: Pickup uses selected stops in Waikiki. Your booking instructions identify the meeting point and time for your reservation.
  • Meeting landmarks: Ross Dress for Less on Seaside Avenue and Alohilani are among the pickup landmarks. The bus doesn't collect from every hotel entrance.
  • Beach clothes: Wear your swimsuit under dry clothes. Some stops lack changing facilities, so arriving ready for the water keeps the beach breaks usable.
  • Day bag: A towel and drinking water belong in your bag. Sun protection is useful too, and sandals or water shoes suit the beach stops.

Before you book

  • Your pickup isn't always at 7:20 a.m. Check your Waikiki stop's time and use that instead of the general start.

Fit

Is this tour right for you?

The 8-hour route suits active Waikiki guests who want beach stops without driving. You travel with up to 23 guests. It isn't a full day of paddling. Your budget needs room for lunch and a separate board rental.

For a day centered on the river, Blue Planet's rental costs from $39.99 per person for 2 hours. If you want to learn as you paddle, Rainbow's group lesson costs from $104 per person.

Means: Book the 7:20 a.m. bus departure if several North Shore stops and Waikiki pickup matter more than extended paddling.

Who it's not for

  • Guests with less than 8 hours available
  • Paddlers wanting to spend the whole outing on water
  • Anyone expecting kayak or paddleboard rental in the price

Good to know

Know before you go

Fitness and health

The beach day requires moderate fitness. It isn't recommended during pregnancy or for travelers with spinal injuries. Poor cardiovascular health is also a reason to choose another outing.

Dress before pickup

Wear your swimsuit under dry clothes before the bus arrives. Some stops don't have changing facilities. Water shoes or sandals suit the beach portions of your 8-hour day.

Your day bag

Bring a towel and drinking water for the stops. Snorkel equipment comes with the tour. You'll need your own sun protection while spending time outside the bus at the beaches and river.

Pickup instructions

The scheduled tour start is 7:20 a.m., with pickup at selected Waikiki stops. Your reservation gives the assigned time and place. That pickup time may differ from the tour's displayed start.

Weather and numbers

Bad weather or too few travelers can cancel this departure. The group holds up to 23 people. A booked bus day doesn't guarantee that conditions will suit swimming at every beach stop.

Tickets and refunds

Up to 23 travelers can share one booking with mobile tickets. You can cancel for a full refund at least 24 hours before departure. Inside that window your cancellation isn't refundable.

Questions

People also ask

  • Does Kevo's Beach Bus include paddleboard rental in the price?

No, paddleboard or kayak rental is an extra purchase during the day. The bus tour costs from $149 per adult. The price covers the guide and snorkel gear, while lunch also comes out of your own budget.

  • How long is the Kevo's Beach Bus North Shore trip?

The outing lasts 8 hours and runs on Monday and Wednesday as well as Friday. It's a bus tour with short activity stops. You won't spend that whole time paddling or snorkeling because the route also visits farms and Honolulu sights.

  • Can children join Kevo's Beach Bus?

Yes, child tickets cover ages 4 through 11 and infant tickets cover ages 0 through 3. Infants ride on an adult's lap. Your booking must include an adult, and a child's ticket doesn't include a board rental.

  • How much river time does Kevo's Beach Bus allow?

The itinerary sets aside 30 minutes at Anahulu River. You can use the stop for an optional paddle or watch from shore. This short visit won't suit someone wanting a full lesson followed by a long independent rental.

  • Where does Kevo's Beach Bus stop for lunch?

Tsue's Farm is the 40-minute lunch stop. Food is bought separately when you get there. You eat during this break before the bus continues to Dole Plantation, so the meal needs to fit within the stop.
